Engine & Performance
Under the bonnet resides the legendary 8.3-litre V10 derived directly from the Dodge Viper SRT/10 platform. Output is circa 500 bhp and 525 lb-ft of torque. In the Quad Cab guise the automatic-transmission model accelerated from 0-60 mph in approximately 5.3 seconds and achieved a top speed in the region of 147 mph. The Quad Cab SRT-10 uses a 4-speed automatic (48RE) rather than the manual offered on the Regular Cab version.
All of this combines performance truck capability with Viper heritage — making this variant a compelling collectible.
Exterior & Colours
The 2006 model year included distinctive updates: the revised front-end styling as part of the 2006 facelift for the Ram (headlamps, grille, steering wheel) and the SRT-10 benefits accordingly. This particular example is finished in “Inferno Red”.
The body is in the desirable Quad Cab four-door format (providing greater practicality) with the lowered suspension, wide tyres and performance touches that distinguish the SRT-10 from a standard Ram.
Interior & Features
This example features premium grey leather upholstery throughout (a specification befitting the top-tier SRT model) and includes a rear entertainment system — a valued option for the Quad Cab SRT-10 that added a rear‐seat DVD or video screen for rear passengers.
The interior trim of the SRT-10 included leather-trimmed bucket seats (Regular Cab) or 60/40 split-folding rear bench in the Quad Cab, unique badging, a performance-tuned suspension and upgraded braking.
